We run the business with a select, professional team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of tailored programmes and services across all sectors, both here in the UK and overseas. We work hard to remain a streamlined company, meeting our clients' requirements and consistently providing a top-quality personal service. We all have a passion for languages and even our most junior member has studied a language to A level standard, so we genuinely understand the demands and pleasures of learning a new language!
Debbie Sasson –
Founder and Managing Director
Having worked for the brand leader of the self-study language market, Debbie set up Language Matters in 1992 because she believed that there was a better way to teach languages for business. She holds a joint Honours degree in French and German from the University of Bath, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education, a Post-Graduate Diploma in commercial French and German and she is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
Ziona Arcari –
Ziona has a degree in International Marketing with majors in German and Marketing and she has lived and worked in Germany. The majority of her career has been in European marketing. She has also worked as a German language trainer, so knows first-hand what the clients require.
Sally Reynolds –
Sally has a degree in French and Italian from the University of Bath and is qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language. She has spent 25 years actively using her languages working across Europe and has lived and worked in Italy since 2003. She has extensive experience as a cultural awareness consultant. Our Italian venture is relatively new and we can think of nobody better to run it for us.
Rosie Sasson –
Rosie has studied Spanish and Latin to GCSE and French to A level. She is highly organised and ensures the smooth running of the office, keeping us all in line!
