Bespoke Language Training

All of our courses are designed to meet each delegate's precise requirements. First we assess your level of competence by asking you to complete an on-line test and then one of our consultants assesses your speaking and listening skills. We discuss with you the areas on which you need to focus and specifically how these relate to your work role.

Our clients are often keen to improve their general conversational skills, rather than focus purely on business language, so that they learn to converse more spontaneously and idiomatically, participate more confidently in discussions, express their opinions and generally improve their range of expression and fluency.

Delivery Options

English trainingWe offer small-group sessions or discreet one-to-one coaching for both native and non-native speakers of English. Small group training is ideal for those who have a similar level of proficiency and business objectives, as it is a cost-effective way of training a number of employees. We recommend one-to-one training for those who have very specific requirements or who would find it difficult to commit to a regular group session. If you are based overseas, you may decide to undertake an intensive course through our UK professional homestay programme and then continue your learning upon your return home, either face-to-face or remotely.

We have a network of trainers in key cities throughout the world. The majority of our clients opt for face-to-face training at their offices in the UK or abroad. However, for those who travel or find it difficult to attend in the office, we offer alternative methods of delivery. Training via Skype or video-conference is becoming increasingly popular, as it allows for increased flexibility. We have clients who travel three weeks in four or who are not office-based and learning remotely is the perfect solution for them. Choose the solution which suits you best:

The frequency of your sessions will depend on the urgency of your need and how much time you can devote to your training. Choose from regular weekly or twice-weekly sessions or an intensive course.

Monitoring Progress

English trainingWe produce regular progress reports and an end of course report. Your language proficiency level will be determined in relation to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The CEFR has become the common standard for defining language proficiency levels and interpreting language qualifications not just in Europe, but worldwide. It describes language ability on a scale of levels, from A1 for beginners up to C2 for those who have complete mastery of a language.

You will also be given the option of gaining an internationally recognised qualification, such as the Cambridge English exams.
